- Toronto Pride Parade
July 3, 2016
1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Express your passion for being OUT on the slopes by marching with us in the Toronto Pride Parade.
An annual Tradition, OUTSLOPES Toronto (Formally Toronto Gay Ski & Snowboard Club - TGSC) march along with their sister summer club the Toronto Gay Sailing Club, as part of the OutSport Toronto contingent in the Toronto Pride Parade.
This fun and unique experience allows members to march with Pride, express your passion for the sport of skiing or snowboarding, and help promote LGBT inclusivity and visibility in sport.
A whole different experience from watching the parade, by being in the parade you get to mix and mingle with others also in the parade while we're lining up, and be the centre of attention as we march down Young Street.
In the wake of the Orlando massacre, this year more than ever, it's important that we stand proud and tall, and show our solidarity with the entire LGBTQ community, and promote LGBTQ inclusion in sport and in life.

UPDATE
We have received our lineup information. We will be a little later in the parade this year, so while the parade starts at 2pm, we don't need to meet to lineup until 2:30pm.
Our exact meet-up point won't be determined until the day of when Parade Organizers assign us our position in the lineup, however it is generally on Jarvis Street, near the Rogers Building (the big one that looks like a castle). Â Please follow us on Facebook and Twitter for up to the minute details on the day of the parade.
Once in line and organized, the parade itself will start at 2pm. Â Depending on where we are in the lineup, it may be a little while before we start moving.
Dress Up! Â It's more fun!
Show you ski & snowboard passion by dressing for the part. Â Consider wearing a toque (if it's not too hot), and your goggles. Â It's a bit of a walk, but perhaps you want to carry your skis or snowboard along with you.
Wear comfortable shoes, it is a long march.
Check the weather before heading out, don't over dress.
HEAT STROKE RISK: DO NOT wear your full ski outfit, we don't want to have to be getting medical attention for you overheating.
Prepare to get wet. Â Attendees of the parade love to bring water guns and quirt the participants. Â Typically it's quite warm, the the spray is refreshing, but consider bringing a change of clothes for your drive home.
The OUTSLOPES Shop is slightly delayed in opening, but OUTSLOPES Branded T-Shirts will be available day of the parade for you to purchase if you want one.  (Not mandatory for participation).
As the Toronto Club has rebranded, we ask that to avoid confusion you do not wear any TGSC shirts you may have from the past.
