LIFT TICKETS
We’re hoping to be able to take advantage of group rates for lift tickets if we can get enough people going. So we recommend holding off on buying your lift tickets until much closer to the time. Discounted online rates are supposedly available at $125US for 2 days of skiing up until 3 days out from your trip. So if you can… hold off until we know if we’ll have the necessary number of people to take advantage of group pricing.
Where to stay
Tyler & Jason have the following suggestions on where to stay while in Ellicottville.
Microtel Springville
At the two-story Microtel, the 60 non-smoking rooms and suites have free Wi-Fi connections and local calls and TVs with cable channels. Some also have microwaves, refrigerators and coffeemakers. A complimentary continental breakfast is served every morning, and for other meals there are plenty of family-friendly eateries within walking distance. Pets are welcome for a fee. Parking is free, even for most larger vehicles. The hotel is off the Southern Expressway 35 miles from Buffalo. For skiing excitement, Holiday Valley is 19 miles south.
Edelweiss Lodge Ellicottvile
Located in the Village of Ellicottville. Nestled in the small charm of the Village of Ellicottville just steps from the shops and restaurants, and 3/4 mile to Holiday Valley. Edelweiss Lodge is on 2 acres with many different accommodations to offer including room’s, chalets, apartments, and houses. Pool during summer, Bar B Q pit, 2 tennis courts, Great place for Family Getaways.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Salamanca

7:30pm – Reservation dinner at the Villagio – food and beverage are at your own expense, but let trip leaders know you would like to attend so the reservation can be set for the right number of people.
Followed by – Live Music & Drinks at the Gin Mill – enjoy some live music and sip a few drinks while socializing with others on the trip.
Sunday
8:30 am – Breakfast Reservation at Dina’s – food and beverage are at your own expense, but please let trip leaders know you would like to attend so the reservation can be set for the right number of people.
CANCELED
Sadly due to the extreme high temperatures for this time of year, and amount of rain the area has received, the conditions are not favourable for safe enjoyment of this trip, so trip leaders have elected to cancel this tip.
